This policy describes what data the celestia-island services collect during the closed beta and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account data — email address and account metadata needed to operate your account.
• Usage records — API and service usage data, used for metering and billing during and after the beta.
• Logs — request and service logs generated in the normal course of operation.

How we use it

• Service operation — running the services, authentication, and support.
• Abuse prevention — detecting and responding to abuse or attacks.
• Usage metering — measuring usage for internal billing and capacity planning.

Retention

Data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above. Logs are typically retained for 30 days; account and usage records are retained for the lifetime of the account plus any period required by applicable law.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not collect or process payment card data; any future payment processing is handled by third-party providers under their own policies.
